Introductory Thoughts

When it comes to public governance Omnis 21 stands for strong local government solutions.

Bringing the power to govern back to the local communities and in the hands of the individual citizen is, in our well-informed opinion, the way forward. This means that centralized government power, on national and international levels, will be strongly reduced. In place thereof Omnis 21 foresees supra-local governance systems that in their extremest forms will enable local governments to pursue common dreams and tackle common obstacles and challenges.

As a result there will be more diversity. More diverse communities will be founded and this will also allow for more people to find a place that they can truly call home.

Whether or not this means less nationalism depends entirely on the ability of countries to adapt to the new ways that society is devising.

Rethought formats of commerce and economics are cornerstones of the society that will emerge through Omnis 21. Although economic advantages are the initial stimuli that trigger interest and participation and that drive entrepreneurship, by no means do these represent the only leverage. Also the urges and needs to improve basic and essential infrastructure and social conditions, for instance, represent a major and crucial leverage that can lift society to new heights.

One of the keys to unlock a prosperous future for the individual, who’s living in rapidly automating landscapes, is (local) entrepreneurship. As countless jobs in mass-production facilities and service environments become automated processes more and more people will be required to discover new potentials. Entrepreneurship is one of those potentials.

People can either choose to remain financially self-sufficient by developing new skills that will enable them to generate an income for themselves and their families as individual entrepreneurs or they can look at tapping into universal basic income (UBI) schemes. Those are the two most important paths of the future.

However, at Omnis 21 we prefer that people remain in control of their own lives and income, which is why we support the cultivation of entrepreneurial thinking and attitudes.

Even though social media platforms, the main information and communication gateways of the future, can and often do contribute to the improvement of communication between people and institutions the same platforms are letting people change the very fabric of society, with the users themselves largely being unaware of the consequences that come with irresponsible usage of these platforms.

It is true that social and environmental causes, for instance, now more easily gain traction, through social media platforms, as they seek to improve situations through crowd sourcing and crowd funding.

A downside of social media activism, if we can even call it that, is that an increasing number of users remain confined to the digital scenes of the causes. As more and more people come into contact with more and more causes and campaigns on the internet it seems that people feel that they have sufficiently contributed to those causes once their online actions have been triggered, such as voting and rating (and even to a certain extent also funding). They support the online representations of the solutions that are being offered for the social and environmental problems, yet they remain inactive concerning the same causes once offline.

Another issue that Omnis 21 is addressing is the artificial satisfaction that social media platform users are pursuing. As a result people literally disrupt the chemistry inside of their own physical bodies, leading to social media addiction, dysfunctional offline social lives and unrealistic confirmation expectations.

In the society of the future two of the basic principles for education must be a strong awareness and a deep understanding of the world’s cultures. If there is one thing that society has proven to itself then it must certainly be that a greater awareness and understanding result in a more peaceful existence. Thus, less wars and more social and entrepreneurial engagement.

Environmental Management

Efficiency, in the various fields of commerce and in consumption, is worryingly still at a very low level, even though creativity and opportunities are not.

Therefore, something is provably wrong with the communication that exists between ‘developing’ and ‘producing’. When it aren’t political or sectarian interests that keep society from implementing game-changing solutions, it are economic interests.

The halting of a still continuing pattern of passing on to next generations the implementation of, nonetheless, environmentally and economically friendly alternatives and solutions is what Omnis 21 is working towards.

As with everything, also here Omnis 21 seeks a full-spectrum public awareness of the existing situations that challenge effective and efficient environmental management.

One of the most important obstacles in today’s society, anno 2018, is people’s lack of basic financial or monetary knowledge, i.e. the basic understanding of the creation of money and how it exists (credit-based).

Omnis 21 is working towards a society that continues to use tangible currencies but that are fully transparent when it concerns their creation and value.

It is completely unacceptable that today central banks in reality still operate as independent commercial banks that keep crucial information hidden from the public. Information that determines the actual value of currencies.

Although digital and crypto currencies are rightfully on the rise we do call for caution. These instruments have not yet proven to be fully controllable by the public and it is yet to be seen who is to be held accountable for losses and damages when disaster strikes, in any form.

(W)holistic thinking, education, training and practicing form the foundation of true effectiveness in health and healthcare.

Although (more) experts are absolutely needed in every field of medicine and care, compartmentalization is proving to be detrimental to the public’s health in the long run. Misguided diagnosing and over-prescription are interfering with people’s health and most people are not aware of the dangers that exist in these alarming trends.

Also here Omnis 21 works towards more public awareness when it concerns medication, treatment and lifestyle.

Newstream Information Media

The news, information and infotainment media landscapes that once existed are no longer there. The media spectrum is transforming quickly and populations are not being adequately informed about it.

As the gap between the “mainstream” media and the “alternative” media gets smaller and smaller, to the point where they seemingly start to merge (collectively the “monostream”), the radicalization at the other end of the information spectrum understandably and rightfully continues.

This hardcore activist information collective finds it harder and harder to effectively reach the populations that they seek to make aware of the issues that society is not adequately addressing.

Omnis 21 is one of the leading and most determined voices when it concerns the creation and further development of a newstream information media that is detached from oppressive political doctrines. A newstream information media that informs the populations regardless of the nature of the facts.

Science is one of the most important sectors in life on Earth and it must be restored, it must become free of political and sectarian interests. The facts and the evidence are what matter the most but these have been polluted with political spinning in almost every field of science.

The truth, the facts, the evidences. They are what they are and only based on these should a society want to develop. We have been working with the distortions for far too long and it is exactly that that has caused massive confusion and misguided policies for governance.

With science restored humanity can and will advance more and faster than most of us can even imagine.

The next 3 quarters of the 21st century should be much more about finding spiritual balance, not just individually but also collectively as a society. For too long has this cornerstone of humanity’s existence been neglected by the individual and his or her community, on the local and (inter)national level.

Although there is nothing fundamentally wrong with pursuing material satisfaction, it is after all also what makes us human, when spirituality is not an important part of one’s life true happiness will never be found.

An, often deliberate, imbalanced spiritual existence contributes not to one’s own advancement but rather to one’s confinement in the misrepresentations of reality. This is why omniology should take a more central role in society. More understanding and also more questions allow people to easier find that balance in life that they have always been searching for, even if on a subconscious level.

Whether or not more spiritual awareness and balance will also mean an increase in religious practices and congregations entirely depends on the representatives of the religions their abilities and willingness to adapt to the new times that society will bring along with it.
